The 80,000 square foot addition was designed to satisfy the increasing demand for function, social interface and a desire to freshen the ‘Look’ of the campus.  The addition contains biology and chemistry laboratories with raised floors, faculty offices, a multi-purpose auditorium and the Student Center.

The existing building was wrapped with the new construction using brick and glass.  The stair cases were envisioned as visual anchors expressing its open door policy and a positive image to the surrounding community.

The Student Center provides opportunities for social exchange among the instructors, students and administration.  The use and quality of natural light allowed within and the stimulating building finishes are representative of the statement schools open-policy system.
